This role will be responsible for providing coordination and management of City of Darwin's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) team to ensure high availability and maximum effectiveness of business processes and systems, telecommunications, data, technology, vendors, cyber security, financial expenditure and contract management.

This position is also required to support the Executive Manager Corporate and Customer Service as the subject matter expert to deliver section outcomes in accordance with strategic directions, municipal planning and budget requirements.

Leadership - Skilled in creating a team environment that promotes and facilitates change, boosts staff performance and guarantees the delivery of CoD strategic directions.

Financial Insight - Profound understanding of financial business operations, with the capability to analyse and provide recommendations aligned with programs and associated budgets.

Technical Expertise - The professional experience you bring to the organisation should allow you to confidently provide specialist technical expertise, and advise our CEO, General Managers and any key stakeholders within the business.

Attention to Detail - Vital in ensuring the business maintains legislative compliance and essential cyber security protocols.

You will have:

• Bachelor in ICT, Systems Administration, Network Management or equivalent experience
• A minimum of three (3) years' experience in an ICT management role
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in an ICT technical role
• National Criminal History Check
• Class C Driver's Licence
